TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All shower repairs and waterproofing works are undertaken on the basis that the existing structure, substrates and surrounding building conditions are outside the control of the contractor.

No guarantee is given regarding the long-term effectiveness, performance or durability of the waterproofing system, sealants, adhesives or other products used, particularly where existing waterproofing, substrates or construction conditions cannot be fully inspected or accessed.

The contractor accepts no responsibility for failure, deterioration, cracking, leaking or other damage resulting from building movement, structural movement, substrate movement, settlement, vibration, inadequate existing construction or waterproofing, or conditions beyond the contractor’s control.

The use of harsh, abrasive or unsuitable chemical cleaning products on repaired surfaces may cause deterioration or failure of sealants, membranes, coatings or other materials and will void any warranty or guarantee relating to the repaired works.

Any warranty or guarantee is limited to defects directly attributable to the workmanship of the repair and does not extend to consequential damage, existing defects or failure arising from conditions outside the contractor’s control
